Job description
Hunter Express Ltd is seeking AZ Truck drivers from PETERBOROUGH for various local routes, including trips to Trenton or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
Experience: - Minimum of 1 years of experience as a commercial truck driver
Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Ability to safely operate a commercial truck in various weather conditions and terrains - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Strong attention to detail to accurately complete paperwork and maintain records - Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, clients, and team members
