Job description

The role, reporting solid line to the Quality Assurance Director, will be responsible for all Quality related activities on the assigned Business Line in North America:
•    Consolidate the Quality assurance processes on North American products according to the group procedures to achieve higher effectiveness. 
•    Build up communication channels and processes with market, local team, and head quarter.
•    Support in training local organization on group procedures and practice.
•    Manage all the quality activities related to the new project development process (example: Quality Control Plan, FMEA, Field Test, Training) in cooperation with R&D and MKTG and Central Function based in Italy
•    Support the components Quality development (PPAP/APQP) during the New Product Introduction (NPI) processes; participate in the periodic meetings during the NPI process, supporting and validating the Go/No Go decisions supporting the implementation of Group Procedures
•    Define Quality Plans  (Cp/Cpk; Control Charts) and be involved into cross functional teams also based in Italy Head Quarter
•    Analyse technological process status cooperating on continuous improvements and Analyze customer’s claim rate data to identify main offender and define improvement actions driving their execution, activating the relevant interfaces with the Central Organization.
•    Manage complaints (from customers, regulatory…): analyze products problem’s causes (RCA) and define improvement and preventive actions in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Service, Marketing and other Central Departments 
•    Monitor, coach and lead Plant Quality Managers, who will report to him/her in dotted line, in activities related to site’s Quality: incoming controls, statistical controls and production controls, process monitoring and supporting product/process problem solving. 
•    Act as point of reference for the Sales and Service Departments to share technical knowledge and collect insights, information and KPI for reducing field quality spending
•    Prepare regularly Quality reporting and specific reports on problem solving issues and on continuous improvement projects

The ideal candidate is an Engineer with 4/7 years of experience in Quality and Production area. 

Analysis and planning skills, accuracy, curiosity to learn new things, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem-solving, target orientation, and flexibility complete the profile.

English knowledge and proficiency in the main MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) are basic requirements with the knowledge of TQM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
