Industrialization Manager

Job description

As a large, globally recognized and fast-growing company, our client is looking for an industrialization project manager.
In coordination with the various teams, you will be in charge of managing manufacturing batches on technical aspects, costs, quality, deadlines and the launch of calls for tenders, in addition to ensuring the relay function of the purchasing department for the company's Canadian subsidiary. In this capacity, you will be at the centre of negotiations and will ensure the follow-up of supplier contracts.

Your missions
MISSION 1: GUARANTEE MANUFACTURING AND SUPPLIES
• Manage production batches in accordance with internal processes
• Guarantee the provision of the manufacturing, procurement or subcontracting services necessary for the business in terms of technique, cost, deadlines and quality
• Provide and anticipate technical support to the workshop manager or the operational site manager
• Carry out or participate in the costing of the manufacturing part during the call for tenders and/or amendment phase
• Participate in various design and progress reviews to bring expertise in manufacturing management
MISSION 2: SUPPORT AND TECHNICALLY MONITOR SUBCONTRACTORS AND/OR SUPPLIERS
• Provide technical support to subcontractors and/or suppliers to anticipate and guarantee the compliance of the expected products or subcontracting services
• Write or participate in the drafting of technical specifications specifying the scope of the expected service
• Manage, trace and settle modifications, non-conformities or manufacturer and/or subcontracting requests identified during the manufacturing phases 
• Write or participate in the drafting of procedures 
MISSION 3: PARTICIPATE IN THE DESIGN OF TOOLING
• Ensure the follow-up of the development on site and participate in the design of evolutions and design improvements
MISSION 4: WORK WITH THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT
• Prospect and study the market, develop and lead a national and international network of production partners and suppliers (North American supply chain development), in a sustainable way
• Develop purchasing synergies
• Actively participate in supplier evaluations and qualifications

Profile
-With a background preferably in mechanics, you have experience in the field of tooling for the aeronautical industry with experience in project costing.
-Your background has allowed you to acquire technical skills in an industrial environment; You have a good background in project coordination as well as supplier management.
-With your customer orientation, you have a real sense of service.
-You are organized, adaptable and have good communication skills.
-You have a good knowledge of the French and English languages.
-You are available for occasional trips to construction sites and suppliers (Canada, United States).
