OUR CLIENT Our client is an award-winning boutique design: in business for 30 years, they garner regular media attention, resulting in luxury (high-end) clients. They s pecialize in $5m+ custom homes, high-end condos, and offices.
JOB OVERVIEW They seek a creative interior designer with hand-sketching skills; someone experienced in high-end custom homes: with solid schematic design and design development skills. You have a portfolio of hand sketches + renders and construction drawings with nice detaling including millwork; kitchen designs; furniture & material selection; reflected ceilings. You are more creative than technical; think beyond Pinterest or Instgram for ideas; wish to join a solid team that rewards loyalty with a well-established owner with repeat business with elite clients.
WHAT'S REQUIRED - Degree or Diploma in Interior Design; Bachelor of Arts; interior design credentials
- 4+ years of work experience; portfolio focused on millwork and creative designs that have won over discriminating clients; new builds of multi-million dollar homes; plus condo and office projects
- Experience with FFE, material selection, dealing with suppliers and pitching clients
- Software: AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; Revit experience a plus
- Exceptional concept design development skills
