Express Employment Professionals is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper for one of our top clients in Regina! This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's local accounting department right here in Regina; furthermore, this position will start as a contract role however will almost certainly transition into a permanent spot with our client based on successful candidate's results. The ideal candidate will possess critical experience in Bookkeeping and other accounting type functions; additionally, our client uses a proprietary accounting system therefore experience with SAP/ERP type systems is an asset. Knowledge of Bookkeeping/Accounting functions without use of software is also preferred.
Job Duties:
Maintaining records of financial transactions such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
Handling AR, AP, and BI entries
Recording financial data into general ledgers.
Maintain the trial balance by a reconciliation of general ledgers.
Making corrective adjustments.
Adjusting entries.
Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other Bookkeeping duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Accounting Diploma or Degree is an asset.
Administrative Writing and Data Entry Skills.
2-5 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
Ability to Analyze Financial Information and Reporting Research Results.
Attention to Detail and Thoroughness.
Ability to follow directions and work independently is crucial
Strong Verbal Communication Skills.
Positive Attitude & Team Building Skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Self-Motivated with Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
Solid Organizational Skills.
