Job description
Under the supervision of a certified engineer you will work closely with the designers in place. You will :
- Design excavator and loader attachments using Solid Works and DraftSight ;
- Follow internal standards and participate in their improvement;
- Create manufacturing and assembly drawings for inhouse or subcontracted use;
- Load manufacturing routing and all documentation into ERP software (Genius);
- Support the production department in the manufacture of standard and custom products;
- Take part in measurements on customer equipment using 3D scanners and conventional measuring tools.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering;
- Good knowledge of steel and its manufacturing processes (welding bending machining etc.);
- Proficiency in Solid Works and DraftSight (AutoCad) mechanical design tools.
Skills
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
- Ability to manage priorities and organizational skills;
- Attention to detail autonomy and motivation;
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity.
Benefits
- Salary starting at $2325/hour depending on experience;
