Description The
Building Structures Representative plays a key role within a manufacturing company specializing in the construction sector. This professional is responsible for promoting and selling the company's products relating to building structures, while establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities •Actively promote the company's building structures products to potential customers, including contractors, architects, engineers and real estate developers.
•Identify and contact new potential customers through field visits, telemarketing, trade show attendance and other prospecting activities.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by providing quality customer service, answering their questions and advising them on products and solutions suited to their needs.
•Understand clients' needs and requirements for building structures and recommend appropriate products based on their technical specifications, budgetary constraints and deadlines.
•Carry out professional presentations of the company's products, highlighting their characteristics, advantages and added value compared to the competition.
•Negotiate commercial terms, prices and payment terms with customers, ensuring that the company's sales and profitability objectives are achieved.
•Track and report sales activities, sales forecasts and results achieved, using customer relationship management (CRM) tools to ensure effective follow-up with prospects and customers.
•Conduct competitive intelligence to stay informed of market trends, new products and competitors' sales strategies, in order to adapt the company's sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements •Training in a relevant field, such as sales, commerce or architecture, an asset.
•Experience in commercial representation of construction-related products or services, preferably in the area of building structures, an asset.
•In-depth knowledge of building structure products, construction standards and regulations in force in the construction industry.
•Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively.
•Results oriented with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
•Mobility to travel in the field and meet with customers, as well as to attend professional events and trade shows.
•Comfortable with office software and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
•Excellent oral and written communication.
