This opportunity is available to applicants who are in their graduating year or who are graduates of Toronto Metropolitan University or a comparable degree in a program of instruction approved by the Board of Certification of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors, require a Practicum placement to sit the Examination to obtain the Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) and who meet the qualifications for this position as stated below. Please note that preference in hiring will be given to applicants without prior practicum/field training.

Key Qualifications:

Your application must describe your qualifications as they relate to: 

  1. Completion of or in the graduating year of the Bachelor of Applied Science, School of Occupational and Public Health, Ryerson University or a comparable degree in a program of instruction approved by the Board of Certification of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors. 
  2. Eligibility to sit for the next scheduled CIPHI Board of Certification Examination. 
  3. Possession of a valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
