Job description

A large Food manufacturer seeks a Human Resources Manager Leader to join their London, ON team. You'll lead three direct reports, report to the HR Director and be responsible for HR policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and employee engagement initiatives. Ideal candidate has proven HR management experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving positive change.

Human Resources Manager Leader Qualifications:

·5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner

· University or College Diploma in Human Resources or similar field

·5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing facility

· Excellent skills in engaging employees

· Comfortable with regular production floor presence

· Strong Presentation skills, PP

· Must have UNIONIZED experience.

· Strong H&S background

· Experience with UKG (Ultimate Pro and Kronos) HRIS system a strong asset

Human Resources Manager Leader Details:

· Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Human Resources Manager Leader Job Description:

• Develop and execute employee relations plans, provide guidance, and share best practices.
• Manage and continuously improve the target setting process and ongoing performance review.
• Lead the recruitment of all salaried employees by working closely with the recruiters.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to identify employee training and development needs.
• Implement training programs to address organizational needs.
• Coordinate and deliver training to meet legislated requirements.
• Manage worker's compensation (WSIB) claims with Teks Med (disability management) and ensure continuous improvement.
• Coach supervisors and team leads on progressive discipline and development planning.
• Support the HR Director with staffing, headcount updates, and salary data.
• Support the HR Director in partnering with the Health and Safety Manager and Plant Manager to develop and execute the plant safety strategy.
