Commercial Brokering Associate - Hamilton
Our client's Brokering Risk Solutions team is comprised of two individuals whose focus is New Business Development in tandem with the Commercial Sales team to strategically place their clients and prospects with their best suited insurer. They are a high energy, sales driven organization with a passion for their clients.
The Commercial Brokering Associate position will complement their existing team and will be actively involved in all aspects of marketing/placement with insurers for their Producers in conjunction with their Senior Marketers. This is an entry position which will evolve with experience.
Position Responsibilities;
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications;
The successful candidate is a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment. A minimum of 2 years insurance experience is required; CIP, CAIB would be an asset or working towards completion. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, with great attention to detail, and be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of EPIC would also be an asset.
