In this next phase, as the number of product innovation ideas increases, we are looking for a leader to continue to promote success through well-informed, well-executed product design that improves and enhances the user experience.
As the Lead Product Designer at SuperSummary, you will be instrumental in accelerating our pace of innovation through comprehensive research and exceptional design. Leading a small team of talented designers, you will be responsible for setting design standards, prioritizing projects, coordinating workflows, and serving as the primary liaison with other departments, including Product, Engineering, Content Production, and Customer Experience. You’ll use a combination of creative and operational strategy to guide the entire design process, from concept to completion.

Strategic/Technical Design Leadership: Oversee Design Team standards for excellence, ensuring user-friendly, engaging, high-quality. and effective designs for each project. Oversee the Design Team’s continual development and maintenance of design systems and libraries, guaranteeing consistent and cohesive visual language across all products.

Provide team members with the feedback and guidance needed to continually increase their positive impact on the team.
User-Centric Design Production : Craft designs that resonate with SuperSummary’s specific customer segments by developing detailed user journey maps and personas — and conducting robust user research, using interviews, surveys, usability tests — to place user needs at the forefront of the design process.
Research and Development : Work with Product Managers to combine user insights with market/product analysis so that the company is equipped to identify, explore, and prioritize the most promising product innovation opportunities each quarter.
Experimental-Oriented Mindset: Support our Product Team’s “A/B test” culture by breaking down large and complex design flows and projects into MVPs that are practical for user testing — collaborating closely with Engineering to understand development limitations and time constraints.
