We are a locally owned glass company that has been in business for over 50 years. We offer a range of services such as locksmithing, window repair and auto detailing. Currently, we are seeking a shop helper who would be trained to complete various tasks which include windshield replacement, auto detailing and some glazier work. The position is for 32 - 40 hours a week which includes minimal weekend and evening hours. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- In this position, you will be responsible in helping our clients with the replacement of windshields and autoglass. this includes windshield replacement and repairing cracks.
- Auto detailing responsibilities would include cleaning vehicles according to the needs of our customers by performing detailed cleaning, washing and buffing to restore the appearance of the vehicle.
- As a glazier, you would be responsible for measuring, cutting and replacing various types of glass for home and business.
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- Good computer skills
- Clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Good with measurements and tape measure
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending and standing for long periods of time
- Experience in windshield replacement, auto detailing or glazier work would be an asset, but not necessary.
