Looking to join a supportive and collaborative team? Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital is hiring a veterinarian to join us! We are proud to serve the pets in our community including dogs, cats, pocket pets and exotics. Our doctor team is supported by an experienced staff of dedicated technicians and skilled assistants; each doctor works with an organized personal team to help them through the day.
This is an ideal opportunity for both experienced vets and new grads . We offer a welcoming and relaxed but professional environment, and our doctors look forward to working collaboratively with other vets to gain new skills. We know how important it is to our doctors to enjoy their time away from the practice, so we are happy to work with our newest doctor to create a schedule that meets their needs, with no after-hours or emergency requirements.

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:
● New grad-driven orientation and tailored mentorship, so that you are able to learn and grow at your own pace
● Longer appointment times and shadowing opportunities
● Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
● New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
● Slack group discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.
Located near the world renowned Niagara Falls, Heartland Niagara is tucked away from the common tourist attractions, but is close enough for easy access to one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Our clinic is located in a bustling plaza area which allows quick access to a number of lunchtime dining options.
