Taylor Ryan is pleased to have partnered with Wesbild to find a Development Manager. You will be responsible for providing strong leadership in managing all phases of current and future projects.
The DM will enhance the Development Teams’ effectiveness by bringing an entrepreneurial spirit to the team, a zest for problem-solving and a professional manner in representing the company to all government agencies, politicians, consultants, industry, and the community at large. You are a leader and avid team player.
Wesbild’s entrepreneurial spirit drives a development philosophy based on innovation versus cookie-cutter operations. No two projects are alike. The right DM for Wesbild is one that fosters innovation and creativity in product design and whose business and project management skills keep project delivery efficient, on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will possess an education or background in Real Estate, Planning, Urban Land Economics, Architecture or Engineering, with at least 5 years of related industry experience. You will have experience with progressing residential projects through the rezoning and permitting phases. An ability to bring an existing or establish a network of contacts with municipal, consultant and development communities will be an asset.
