Job description
Witdouck Farms is looking to fill various Summer Pollination Positions for our Iron Springs location! Work outside and gain experience working in the seed, and canola industry by setting up pollination equipment throughout Southern Alberta. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for seasonal work for part of the summer, throughout the summer, or up till the early fall months! (we are flexible with students' schedules) Possibilities of having a fulltime position at the farm.

Responsibilities: • Willing to work with leafcutter bees and seed production • Physical and mental ability to carry out farm duties • Load and unload bee shelters • Operating trucks and trailers • Communicate errors, incidents, and damages to foreman • Inspect machinery and equipment as needed Credentials • Minimum 3 years driving experience • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and ensure safe vehicle operation • Reliable means of transportation to get to work • Work overtime as required • Must be a team player • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English • Clean Drivers abstract What we offer: • Gain extensive knowledge in the agriculture industry • Plenty of working hours • Competitive Pay • Direct Deposit paid biweekly • Company provided fuel discounts • Bonus opportunities
