World Leading CPG company is hiring Cashier for a Sales Event in Markham to start immediately.

Location: Markham, ON (McCowan & Elgin Mills)

Working hours: 8:45 am to 6 pm

Working date:  Feb 23, 29 and Mar 1, 2024

Payrate: 18/hr plus vacation pay (No cash job, SIN only)

Job Information:

• Processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers
• Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
• Verify the cash register charge on debit machine – must be identical
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior work in a similar or related environment as a cashier
• Detail-oriented with good merchandising skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions
• Able to stand for a long period
• Clean criminal background
