Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for a semiformal residence located in Etobicoke. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence along with leading the other staff members. This position is fulltime liveout. The ideal schedule is Monday Friday 10am6pm with some flexibility required.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced and wellrounded housekeeping professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You have a strong understanding of household hygiene and cleaning best practices. You have a do what it takes attitude and have a calm and collected approach when things dont go as planned. You are comfortable managing and training staff to ensure the standards of the house are maintained.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily housekeeping includes dusting vacuuming kitchen and bathroom cleaning and washing floors

Schedule and supervise trades and contractors

Manage household staff

Management of household inventories and implementation of organizational strategies

Care of fine furnishings fixtures fabrics finishes and surfaces

Daily laundry ironing and steaming

Cover and uncover outdoor furniture

Special projects include but not limited to quarterly deep cleans household cupboard and closet cleaning and reorganization

Errands not limited to dry cleaning and grocery shopping as required

Light pet care as required

Other duties as required from time to time

Applicant Qualities:

Must have previous experience working in a semiformal residence with leadership experience

Excellent housekeeping laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces

Must be very comfortable around small dogs

Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times exercise diplomacy discretion and respect of boundaries

Applicants must be service oriented with excellent English communication skills

A valid Ontario G licence with a vehicle is considered an asset

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
