Responsible for collecting and analyzing content as requested by leadership for inclusion in presentations, whitepapers and other content

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collects and analyzes content as requested by leadership for inclusion in presentations, whitepapers and other content

Provides analytical and collection support for global, regional and local research initiatives as needed

Serves multiple internal and external constituencies-sales professionals, management, media, real estate associations, clients-by providing relevant insights on market conditions and trends

Performs other duties as assigned

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

BA/BS from a four-year college or university in economics, finance, business administration or related field of study. Minimum 2-4 years of related experience

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

None

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients

Ability to effectively prepare information for presentation by others at events and to clients

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills

Must have a commercial mindset. Able to identify trends and think about the market in innovative ways. Can translate ideas into thoughtful deliverables that differentiate CBRE, our professionals and our products

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Team player. Able to work across Marketing, PR, Research, Operations and Local and National Leadership to achieve collective goals and create exponential results

Good technical skills with intermediate / advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and amenable to learning new technologies and systems related to data collection, extraction and tracking

A keen understanding of Research fundamentals. Knowledge of how to apply research and data analytics expertise to the benefit our brand and core businesses

Must have project management skill set. Can oversee small projects or assigned project tasks, determine priorities and develop a through-line to completion, including harnessing the right resources and collaborating along the way

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Works under moderate supervision. Receives little instruction on routine assignments and work is generally not subject to review. Receives detailed instructions on new assignments. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
