Job description

Our client is one of Canada’s largest and most diversified infrastructure companies. They offer vertically integrated solutions for public and private projects of every size and scale.
They are looking to have an Administrator join their Markham location!

This is an 8-month contract.

Responsibilities
-Support Strategic Sourcing Team with day-to-day tasks, including Purchase Order creation and supplier communication.
-Coordinate IT & Facility requests from sourcing to payment.
-Conduct Credit Applications and ensure supplier setup process completion.
-Manage the Procurement email folder and direct requests to the correct division for resolution.
-Maintain relationships with programs and suppliers, ensuring accurate reporting and ordering processes.

-Responsible for logging supplier contracts, maintaining procurement standards, and following policy.

Qualifications
-Minimum three years of procurement experience.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
-Detail-oriented, focused, and committed to time-sensitive orders/requests.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel with proven experience.
-Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong working relationships.
