Job description

Our client is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join their team.

As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for increasing demand through internal and external marketing activities focused on the US resellers, distributors and SI’s, while creating opportunities to enable partner growth. This will include designing, building and launching GTM programs in tandem with key regional partners to drive demand and build pipeline. Creation of enablement opportunities will consist of identifying in region areas to align to Channels VP growth focus motions to drive adoption, expand partner potential, ultimately leading to greater partner outcomes. The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently with multiple departments, have a keen eye for detail and be able to craft concise messaging for campaign use. The candidate will work closely with Channels and Alliances, Sales Leaders, Product Marketing, and Creative Services to build, execute and measure co-marketing activities to drive success with regional focus partners.

In this role you will work full time hours on a 12 month contract, supporting their Waterloo ON office, working hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)

Responsibilities
•Establish strong working relationships with regional leaders and stakeholders such as Channels RVPs, Channel account managers, Sales VPs and Directors, Product Marketing and Product Management Directors, Partner Account and Partner Desk Managers, etc.
•Build a deep understanding of products, challenges, priorities, opportunities, go-to-market approach, etc. to impact regional partnerships
•Identify channel opportunities within assigned region and work with internal contacts to collect content, design, develop and execute go-to-market programs to drive incremental revenue
•Work with key regional Partners to build 1-to-1 demand generating marketing campaigns across multiple channels and measure their success
•Act as an ambassador for all partner programs; regular communications with US Channels team to ensure awareness of programs and requirements, maximizing participation in programs such as Market Development Funds (MDF), activating Marketing platform content, incentive and recognition programs
•Analyze and measure partner marketing activities, at both the individual and program level, to show clear outcomes (such as ROI)
•Regular reporting of in region activities to provide plans and outcomes to cross-functional sales and marketing stakeholders
•Plan, build, and execute in region partner enablement sessions to foster partner growth around products and regional market opportunities
•Identify opportunities on the creation of key co-branded assets (content, messaging, microsites, multimedia etc.) to drive awareness of OpenText through Partner channels

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
•5+ years marketing and/or channel experience
•Experience building business relationships at a decision making and/or VP level both internally and externally
