Job description
Peoples Park Tower is an independent living retirement facility who provides rental accommodations for seniors who need minimal to moderate support with their daily lives. Our facility enables residents to live as independently as possible, with access to supportive services.
We are looking for a full time LPN Manager to join our team. The starting salary is $24 per hour and has a base 36 hours weekly.
DUTIES:
The LPN Manager is responsible for providing nursing care and distribution of medication for residents. The LPN Manager will be an excellent communicator, have attention to detail, be compassionate, and have a passion for nursing. All Nursing staff are required to be available for all shifts in the weekly rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Nursing care Distribute medications Apply aseptic techniques including infection control, specimen collection, sterile dressing, etc. Communicate changes in resident’s health
QUALIFICATIONS Current and valid LPN license Current First Aid/CPR Training in medication administration Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Strong written and oral skills
OTHER Knowledge of eldercare or related fields Experience working with seniors is an asset Must be available for shifts in 24/7 rotation We have a warm and welcoming environment with great residents and great staff. The successful candidate will have a valid LPN license and current first aid/cpr training. Benefits and pension apply after certain conditions are met. All Nursing staff are available for all shifts in the 24/7 rotation and is a requirement to secure the full time position.
