About the Role: As a Mechanical Estimation Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the estimation process, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in tenders for mechanical construction projects. Collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will review project specifications, conduct material and labor take-offs, and engage in site visits to assess project requirements. Your expertise in mechanical systems estimation and your attention to detail will contribute to the successful execution of projects and the continued growth of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate project activities
- Review construction drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
- Procure materials and equipment
- Develop and adjust detailed schedules
- Liaise with clients to refine project requirements
- Monitor project progress and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Mechanical or plumbing Journeyman experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
