Summit Water (summitwater.ca) is a rapidly growing, private equity backed company in the water industry. We provide “innovative water solutions for a changing world”. The company operates with three divisions. Net Zero Water manufactures water re-use systems including commercial rainwater harvesting systems. Interpump provides pump solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Pinnacle Water Treatment assembles and distributes residential and commercial water treatment systems.
ABOUT THE POSITION
You will play a crucial role in leading our highly skilled engineering teams for the Net Zero Water and Interpump divisions. As a member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative and sustainable water solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in water management, treatment, and distribution systems.
- Innovation: Drive the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions to address current and future water challenges.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, operations, and business development, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that all engineering projects comply with applicable guidelines.
- Budget Management: Manage the engineering budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to comprehend technical documents, including technical drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals.

- Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards
