About the Role
Reporting to the CEO of Rosedale International Education, the Senior Manager of Education Marketing & Communication will work collaboratively with senior leaders to develop and implement the company’s strategic agenda. We are seeking a visionary and result-driven individual with a solid background in education marketing and communication to join our high-performing, dynamic team. This role aims to enhance overall Rosedale brand awareness and elevate our profile within the Canadian and global education community.
Key Accountabilities
Branding & PR
- Work closely with senior leadership to manage the value proposition and key messaging of Rosedale and its solutions, effectively communicating through diverse channels and formats.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of the Rosedale brand identity across all marketing collaterals and platforms.
- Identify and implement impactful endorsement opportunities, highlighting events, educational content marketing and public relations initiatives to advocate Rosedale education innovation, thought leadership and best practices.
- Enhance Rosedale brand awareness through hosting Rosedale signature global events and participating in industry conferences, etc.
- Serve as a key advocate to represent Rosedale at various events, taking on roles such as presenter, host, or panel moderator.
B2B Academic Product and Service Marketing
- Develop and enhance a portfolio of professional multimedia marketing collaterals consisting of videos, viewbooks, info-packages etc. to promote Rosedale branding and its international school solutions, products, services, best practice, and success.
- Collaborate with the business development team to support region-specific marketing initiatives.
- Partner with other departments such as University Relations and Student Success Office to support stakeholder-specific marketing and communications.
Content Marketing and Social Media
- Develop and manage content marketing and social media release in alignment with Rosedale’s business agenda and growth strategies.
- Establish and implement educational content marketing calendar and plan, consisting of 3-4 quality pieces per month collaboratively developed with the Academic team for distribution across platforms.
- Improve SEO through content marketing, linkbacks, keywords and backend website tags.
- Build, manage, and analyze social media campaigns effectively, aiming for a high return on investment.
Integrated Communication
- Implement integrated communication strategies tailored to each stakeholder group within the Rosedale Global High School Network and other external stakeholder groups.
- Centrally manage all official communications, including public newsletter, GHS community communication, announcements, etc.
Team Management
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of 3 marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals, accuracy and efficiency in work execution.
- Promote a culture of high performance and accountability, mentoring staff to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Manage all aspects of HR for the team, including workflow design, recruitment, performance review and evaluation. Anticipate and address human resource issues with effective problem-solving strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of management experience in marketing, communications, and public relations in the education sector. Experiences with international education are preferred.
- Strong experience in branding, content marketing, new media, creative production, communications, and event planning in the education sector
- Creative marketer with a commitment to staying current with new methods, technologies, and tools.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and enhancing mature marketing practices with excellent project management and team leadership skills.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding performance targets and achieving measurable outcomes
- Great passion for education innovation and global transformation, with a solid understanding of trends, innovation, and practices in modern education
- Ability to collaborate with academic teams to summarize and elevate academic features and values.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive integrated implementation across functions and regional offices.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Work location policy: Hybrid. The candidate should be able and willing to commute to Rosedale’s HQ Office in Markham at least two days a week.
Compensation
Base salary $90,000-110,000 with performance bonus. Rosedale also provides an extended health benefits plan, vacation time, and opportunities for professional development.
