Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Scaffolder to join our team and support our ongoing projects across Africa. As a Scaffolder at IIQAF you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our construction sites as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures as well as conducting regular inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze construction plans and blueprints to determine the appropriate scaffolding structures required for a project.
Set up and dismantle scaffolding according to established safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify any safety hazards and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Secure and stabilize scaffolding structures to ensure their stability and prevent incidents.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols as well as company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with construction and project management teams to ensure proper coordination and communication regarding scaffolding needs.
Maintain accurate records of scaffolding materials and equipment used as well as daily progress reports.
Safely transport scaffolding materials and equipment to and from construction sites.
3 years of experience as a Scaffolder in a construction or industrial setting.
Valid scaffolding certification and/or training in scaffolding erection and dismantling techniques.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to scaffolding.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Physically fit and able to work at heights and in all weather.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
