JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time
SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is reponsible for planning, organizing, managing and presenting training programs for Vitalité Health Network staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member in good standing of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick;
- Bachelor of science degree in nursing and at least five years' experience in the field;
- Hold an adult education certificate or proof of equivalent;
- Back in Form, BLS, PALS, ACLS (PRN) instructor would be an asset;
- Current BLS, PALS, ACLS certificates;
- Current competencies in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and adult advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS);
- Functional technology skills (Microsoft Suite, e-Learning);
- Independence, initiative and great sense of responsibility;
- Teamwork, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to appear before a group, make eye contact with participants, move naturally, and keep their attention;
- Ability to communicate ideas in a clear, accessible, and concise manner;
- Ability to guide and support a group in the achievement of pre-established objectives;
- Conceptual knowledge and practical experience with the skills to be taught;
- Knowledge of the principles of adult education and mastery of the methods of knowledge transmission;
- Ability to provide feedback to a learner and assist them in the progress of their learning;
- Ability to get group members to participate and manage the group dynamic to foster the acquisition and integration of learning;
- Ability to ask questions to incite discussion, introspection, and progress in the learning cycle;
- Availability to travel within Vitalité Health Network's territory.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
