Job description

Halifax Water is inviting applications for one (1) Regular Full-Time Senior Financial Consultant in the Corporate Services Department. As a Senior Financial Consultant, this position will focus on broad fiscal issues closely related to the operating budget, capital budget, reserves, and debt including financial planning, sustainability, and longer-term impacts. A primary function will include providing financial analysis at both strategic and operational levels.

As an integral member of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Consultant ensures that generally accepted accounting principles are adhered to within the organization, Halifax Water Policies are followed, and outcomes contained in business and strategic plans are supported.
