Across the Province of Nova Scotia, there are robust Hospitalist programs, which benefit from the expertise of Associate Physicians (APs). Active AP’s working within the Hospitalist program are licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) under the Clinical Assistant license type and are employed by NSH to provide primary clinical care within the Hospitalist Program as Physician extenders.
APs will assist in the provision of care under the authority of the Program Director and Preceptor (staff Physician with privileges within the department in which the AP will be practicing). Participation in the on-call schedule is required and will be assigned by the Program Director, completed by the AP, with direct and indirect oversight by the Preceptor.

$49.91 - $63.57 Hourly
