Job description

Focus of Responsibilities:

• Draft various building system (Plumbing, HVAC, Hydronics, Electrical, Civil Grading) for new residential rental properties
• Assist with HVAC and Plumbing load calculations.
• Identify and prevent design issues, propose solutions
• Coordinate design and work closely with other consultants
• Works independently and with minimal supervision
• Assist to address design question from construction team in real time
• Prepare site instructions
• Create as-builts

Skills required include:

• Competent skills in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Previous experience preparing drawings and coordinating designs with other disciplines including architectural, structural, civil, and electrical.
• Enthusiastic and ready to learn; is an engaged contributing member of the engineering team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to effectively communicate with teams while working independently, effectively, and efficiently.
• Other computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Drivers license & means of transportation.
• Fluent in English, bilingual (French) is an asset
• Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) minimum 3-5 years of experience in building system design, full time position
