Job description
Our client is a Private Boutique Concierge Medical Consulting group that includes a team of physicians, RN’s and related allied health professionals committed to helping individuals maximize their current health, and plan for a healthy future. Their team works closely with each client to assess his or her current health strengths and liabilities. In coordination with the physician, the team and patient formulate a long-term health care plan. Located in Thornhill, they are currently looking for an experienced RN to replace a retiring RN of 25 years’ service.
Job duties -Welcome patients into the office and establish a warm, professional encounter
-Answer patient's medical questions and provide medical advice when appropriate
-Explain and communicate test results to patients
-Collaborate with health team to ensure patient's needs are understood and addressed
-Venipuncture, vitals and EKG’s
-Administer vaccines and injections
-Ensure nursing supplies and emergency supplies are up-to-date
Qualifications - Valid RN license in Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in private health care clinic or hospital.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
-Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, immunization and other injection protocols.
-Familiar and comfortable with medical EMR
-Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Salary Range : $40-50/hr
