We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for a full-time position in Fort Saint John, BC, working with a reputable local pipeline contractor.

Job Description: The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of heavy equipment used in pipeline construction and maintenance. This role also involves mentoring and training an apprentice, contributing to their professional development in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of heavy construction equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Guide and train an apprentice mechanic, providing hands-on instruction and support.
