Position: Order Picker – Evening Shift
Location: East Ottawa
Salary: $19 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – 5 shifts a week (must be available to work on weekends)
Our East End client is currently looking for dedicated and serious candidates to work as
Order Pickers in a distribution facility on the evening shift. This is a long-term opportunity with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidates.
We have an immediate requirement for up to 5 candidates to work in a safe and friendly environment. If you are detail-oriented, able to work under minimal supervision, reliable, and punctual, we want to hear from you as soon as possible!
Duties:
- Pick product in a warehouse environment
- Build pallets
- Operate low lifts (training provided)
- Get product ready for shipment
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Dress for the warehouse environment (e.g. sweaters if needed, can be a cold wet environment)
Requirements:
- CSA approved steel-toed boots that cover ankles
- Clean criminal check
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to operate a low lift (training provided) an asset
