Located out of the Richmond Hill head office, the Claims Adjuster (Bilingual) will be responsible for administration activities related to processing warranty tickets and warranty claims within the terms and conditions of the Mazda warranty. Additional responsibilities include responding to dealer inquiries for validating warranty eligibility for coverage by telephone and email and developing the preparation and distribution of Dealer communications, job aids, warranty bulletins and warranty training.
Essential Duties include (but are not limited to): - Authorize warranty tickets – validate component coverage and claim eligibility.
- Process Warranty authorization ticket requests.
- Validate component coverage and claim eligibility.
- Investigate and process dealer repair requests and claims, providing authorization for repairs, according to MCI policies and procedures.
- Respond to MCI Staff and Dealer inquiries.
- Develop and deliver warranty training.
- Process dealer warranty claims according to MCI warranty policies and procedures.
- Apply acquired business skills and automotive repair knowledge to control claim expense without compromising customer satisfaction.
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required): - Bilingual (ENG/FRE)
- 2-5 years relevant work experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a business-related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capability to focus on customer’s needs (internal and external)
- Ability to work within a team and highly motivated
- Strong time management, problem-solving, decision-making skills
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
