Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years old.

You’ll also…
- Assist with the operation and installation of existing park irrigation systems to implement the turf irrigation program: ensuring maximum efficiency; appropriate schedules and application rates are applied as required to water turf grass and flower beds.
- Troubleshoot/repair various system components (heads/valves/piping).
- Assist in the installation of modifications to existing systems or the addition of new systems.
- Assist in the implementation of the turf maintenance program (top dressing, seeding, turf repair, laying sod).
- Assist with line trimming and backpack blowing as required.

- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of automated/manual commercial irrigation systems.
- Certified Irrigation Technician status (Landscape Ontario) or equivalent (an asset).
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques and materials as well as turf maintenance equipment operation and practices.
- Individuals who can provide their own CSA approved safety footwear.
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License (class G2/G).
- Availability that includes working 6:00am-2:30pm during the spring, summer and fall and possible shifts from 12am to 9am during the irrigation season (Monday-Friday) and occasional overtime and weekends.
