Acuren is actively seeking an ET 2 Technician to contribute to projects in the Central Region, particularly in Oakville and the surrounding areas. • Call Out/Project based
• Travel to various projects and clients sites required 
• Candidates are required to be local to Oakville and/or surrounding area

• Employ Eddy Current Testing techniques to inspect and scrutinize the integrity of welded joints in various structures.
• Set up of the Eddy Current equipment, systematically examining the welds for any irregularities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with welding teams to communicate findings, offer insights for enhancing welding processes, and contribute to maintaining the structural reliability.
• Utilizing Eddy Current testing equipment providing Inspection for hidden damage, such as cracks or corrosion etc. and reporting the findings.
• Summarize inspection results in detailed reports, outlining any identified issues and recommended actions for rectification.
• Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. 
• Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients. 

• CGSB ET Level 2 Certification
• additional certification such as UT, MT, PT or CWB|CSA W178.2 Weld Insp would be an asset
• Strong work ethics
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
• Valid driver's license
