Job description
Scope for the position:
The Protocol Brand & Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Protocol Brand & increase Canadian sales to achieve or surpass targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing (50% time allocation):
· Set and manage the achievement of strategic goals for the Protocol Brand
· Supervise and support Protocol Brand activities:
o Lead the creation and execution of the annual Marketing plan
o Lead end-to-end product launches including product selection, pricing and on-shelf execution
o Portfolio Management including pricing, discontinuation/sku rationalization
o Tradeshow planning for key events and attendance at priority shows
o Ability to create practitioner facing selling product tools (i.e. detailers)
Sales & Brand Growth (50% time allocation):
· Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets as defined by National Sales Manager
· Lead creation of annual sales plan for Protocol
· Develop channel strategy for Protocol (Health Care Practitioners, limited retail, pharmacy and specialty online)
· Actively sell in innovation to current customer base
· Actively seek new doors/expansion of distribution to achieve new business target as defined by National Sales Manager
· Achieve exceptional customer service with a response time of 24-48 hours
· Coordinate and execute the marketing plan & initiatives for the Protocol brand
· Develop and manage the Brand & Sales budget and associated activities
· Protocol brand sales/customer service and marketing support
· Be the Canadian Protocol expert – lead cross functional activities and ensure clear linkages with USA Protocol team and Canadian cross functional teams
· Ability to adapt & adopt USA sales pieces to create applicable Canadian versions
