Location: Nashville, TN 37217
Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional and dedicated Inside Sales Representative with a background in medical sales, distribution, or supply chain management sales. The primary duties and responsibilities include the selling and promotion of our full portfolio of healthcare products, over the phone and by video conference, to achieve sales goals, forecasts and maintain customer relations in order to drive market penetration and profitable growth for the company.
- Conduct sales calls, via telephone, into the designated target market(s), Acute Care, Alternate Site (POL), Post-Acute Care, Laboratories, LTC markets, etc, to increase sales growth.
- Identify key contacts and develop strong relationships within the designated target market(s), their distributors within the assigned territory, as well as with in industry associations.
- Cross-sell and up-sell to new and existing customers across multiple product and vendor channels.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals and presentations that align with client business goals and objectives.
- Effectively grow and manage assigned region by relationship selling, diagnosing needs, forecasting trends, continuous account profiling and contract management.
- Attend all necessary meetings to perform the position's primary duties and responsibilities, and to develop business and organizational strategies with the management team as needed.
- Attend and participate in ongoing training as necessary to develop relevant product, market and competitive knowledge and selling skills.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM.
- Participate in outbound tele-sales projects and campaigns as directed.
- Responsible for account maintenance within region, including credit, pricing, account set-up, customer reports and product demand requests.
- Communicate sales activity impact to all related departments.
- Maintain database of contact names, status of accounts and all relevant territory information.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Inside Sales team member must live in Nashville area and must be prepared to report in office
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of sales experience, preferably in business to business sales
