Laser Welding Applications Lab Manager (FT/Perm) Kingston, ON

About the position:
Our client is looking for an individual to manage our state-of-the-art laser application facility in Kingston Ontario. This lab encompasses 5+ manufacturing cells, comprised of multi-axis robotic equipment, laser welding units and chillers, integrated welding systems, beam delivery and their revolutionary in-line weld monitoring system.
The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of laser welding to develop new welding and monitoring applications, schedule lab activities, maintain the equipment and coordinate activities between the commercial and technical teams. This is an opportunity to work directly at one of the most advanced laser laboratories in Canada.

Preference will be given to candidates who have laser welding and optics experience. Candidates with strong backgrounds in automation and robotics will also be considered.
