Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by providing technical expertise, exceptional customer support, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, the Technical Sales Specialist will be instrumental in managing and nurturing existing accounts, up-selling and cross selling existing accounts, delivering product demonstrations, providing comprehensive support to clients, and occasionally developing new business opportunities.
- Maintain and nurture existing business accounts, while upselling and cross selling when possible.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, addressing inquiries and offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our client's software solutions.
- Deliver technical training sessions to clients, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to maximize the value of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to address technical issues and enhance product offerings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities in CRM systems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Account Management experience within the Industrial Automation industry.
- SaaS sales experience within the Industrial Automation industry highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with CRM software considered an asset.
- University/College Degree is mandatory.
- Bilingual English/French.
