Position Summary:

 

Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Operations, under the day to day direction of the leadhand, the HVACR Technician I, performs a wide variety of tasks relevant to the installation and maintenance of the University’s heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, equipment and building systems.  May participate in other duties related to Physical Resources Operations.

This position is based on the Brantford campus.

Compensation:

Rate of Pay:  $37.19 per hour

Hours of Work: This is a full-time, continuing position.The normal hours of work are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (including 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday.  Flexibility in hours will be required, including evening and/or weekend work due to work volume.  When possible, the manager will adjust the work schedule so that no more than 40 hours are worked in a week.
