We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our team and help bring our processes and programming to the next level! This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift with an 8:00am start time
Hourly Rate: $60.00/hour depending on experience
Overview:
- PLC programming – Rockwell Software
- Robot programming – ABB and Fanuc
- HMI programming
- Streamline our processes
- Collaborate with team to debug machines
- Layout and building of electrical panels
- Route cables avoiding damage and wear.
- Ability to check your work ie. I/O Check
- Coach junior team members as needed
- Organization of schematic redlines
Additional Information:

Requirements & Prerequisites
What you’ll Bring:
- 8-10 years of experience in similar electrical engineering role
- Previous experience within an automation manufacturing/robotic environment required
- Post-secondary education in electrical or electronics engineering or in a related engineering discipline
- Demonstrated PLC knowledge and ability to help implement standard processes
- Ability to implement “Code Manager” (Program to create base code automatically. Will be way more efficient)
- Ability to help bring us to the next level of programming. Using AOP etc.
- Strong knowledge of HMI (Factory Talk View), Rockwell, and Vision programming
- Demonstrated robotic knowledge and ability to use simulation (ABB and Fanuc)
- Accurate interpretation of electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including 120V – 600V
- Strong understanding of wire routing, cable tracks etc.
- VAC 3-phase, controls, I/O systems, servo control, safety circuits, and pneumatics
- Familiarity with modular cabling technologies, cable tray systems, and electrical installations
- Electrical wiring experience and familiarity with mechanical systems
- Knowledge of sound engineering practices and electrical codes with a commitment to adhering to all standards and best practices
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with other members of the Controls Department, as well as other departments including Assembly, Mechanical Design, Project Management, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Written & verbal)
- Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines, managing conflicting demands
- Self-starter with developed analytical and troubleshooting skills
