Due to funding requirements, this position is open to individuals aged 30 or younger. Preference may be given to candidates currently residing in Whitehorse, YT. This position is open only to people who are legally eligible to work in Canada.

Wage: $21.00

Job Type: Entry-level. Temporary.

Contract Dates: June 17 to September 27 with possibility of extension.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a ColdAcre Technician, you'll be expected to spend about 60% of your time coordinating our WinterHarvest program and the remaining 40% assisting with our day-to-day farming operations. In the WinterHarvest program, you'll place product orders, track inventory, and ensure our customers receive their orders seamlessly. You'll also respond to customer inquiries, work to improve the user experience, and provide exceptional customer service. On the farming side, you'll care for crops from germination to harvest, perform system upkeep, and assist in the harvesting and packaging of all crops. You'll also play a part in maintaining our high standards for quality and food safety.
