In your role as Senior Sustainability Specialist, you'll collaborate with our international team to assist clients in envisioning and mapping out Net Zero Carbon, RE100, and comprehensive sustainability portfolio initiatives. Your responsibilities will extend beyond contributing to our internal offerings to actively guiding high-profile clients in defining and implementing their decarbonization strategies. Engaging with global brands and clients on impactful projects, you'll offer guidance and conduct calculations on carbon footprints, delivering comprehensive reports.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Take charge of planning, designing, and executing client sustainability initiatives to establish and accomplish emission reduction objectives, such as net zero targets, while establishing and verifying official Science Based Targets (SBTi) and other decarbonization strategies.
Work closely and collaborate with our architecture, design, strategy, engineering, and delivery teams to cultivate top-tier sustainable designs.
Collaborate with clients to accomplish their certification objectives and compile certification documentation for LEED and WELL projects.
Keep up-to-date with any North American developments in sustainability reporting
Utilize sustainability expertise to forge new client connections and enhance current relationships through the delivery of strategic consulting advice, exceptional value, and high-quality service.
WHO YOU ARE:
7-15 years of experience as a Sustainability Specialist or related
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field – sustainability, sustainable architecture, environmental science, environmental engineering, or equivalent (Architecture or Interior Design preferred)
Minimum of one industry qualification (two or more preferred): LEED, WELL, RESET, Fitwell etc.
Substantial expertise in providing Sustainability consultancy to clients is a must, encompassing energy and achieving net zero carbon, water conservation, waste management, circular economy, and biodiversity. Prior involvement in executing LEED and WELL certified projects is obligatory.
Knowledge of sustainable sourcing procedures (e.g., C2C, FSC)
Comfortable taking charge and working independently or collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility as needed.
Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
