The Role
We are on the search for a General Manager for a growing location in Newmarket, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing sales and providing exemplary customer service
- Manage and drive revenue streams: memberships, private training, teacher training and retail
- Generate and achieve personal sales goals, while training and assisting Sales Reps to meet their numbers
- Overseeing studio procedures, managing staff and scheduling
- Recognize areas of improvement and using sound decision making to implement change
Requirements:
- The right candidate will have excellent sales and management expertise
- 2+ years of Management experience
- 2+ years of retail/service sales and/or fitness sales experience
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
- An affinity and passion for fitness.
- Solid writing and grammar skills.
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
- Team focused - work harmoniously with team members, clients and the general public.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
