Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will report to the Engineering Manager, and you will be responsible for leading new chiller design projects, meeting market requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation into the existing product line. You will use your industry knowledge to generate innovative chiller and refrigeration ideas and concepts, utilize selection tools to provide recommendations, create prototypes and carry out simulations to guarantee component specification and selection.
You will also be responsible for producing technical documentation, lending support to sales and service, and working closely with production and suppliers to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in chiller/refrigeration manufacturing. Experience in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks is highly preferred however candidates with experience in other software would be considered. Familiarity with ASHRAE/ANSI/ASME codes and design requirements is an asset.
This is a remote position within North America, which would require occasional travel.
