Drywall & Acoustical Estimator/Project Manager Please note, this is not an entry level position and as such we are looking for a punctual, self-motivated Estimator, with no less than 2 years’ experience. To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with detail-oriented accuracy • Have ability to read and fully understand all plans/drawings and specifications, and all other technical documents • Have excellent computer skills: Windows environment, MS Project, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, • Have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, as you will be spending most of your time on the phone with trades and or consultants • Hold a college diploma in engineering or related field, or a bachelor's degree in engineering (an asset) • Have a minimum of 2 years full-time experience as an Estimator for fit-ups, new construction

Responsibilities: The Estimator will be called upon to estimate the costs of each project for which the company has decided to respond to a call for tenders, or for those being budgeted for clients or prospective clients. - Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates - Analyze project scope and requirements to determine labour, materials, and equipment costs - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing - Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions - Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline project scope, pricing, and timelines -Attend site visits Qualifications: - Proven experience in construction estimating and project management - Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, materials ( steel stud and wood framing, suspended ceilings, insulation and drywall applications, acoustical applications); methods - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to accurately interpret project documents - Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from and suppliers - Ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Please send resumes to [email protected]
