The General Manager of Ripley’s Believe it or Not, World of Adventure is a hospitality leader who ensures the efficient day-to-day operations of the attraction, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and fosters an inclusive work environment where every crew member feels valued. Responsibilities include driving revenue, ensuring effective marketing, managing administrative functions, and continually innovating and upgrading the displays and the facility. Proven leadership experience is required as you will be leading, training, modeling and setting the exceptional standards of ‘Yes I Can’ service performance to uphold the Core Values. Another key responsibility of the role is building positive and productive relationships with members of the community and representing the company professionally to enhance its reputation while promoting the Ripley’s brand.

Our ideal General Manager brings:

• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a dynamic, multi-faceted hospitality focused business, ideally within the attractions industry;
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality/Tourism or Business Administration, equivalent credentials or an equivalent combination of education and related experience;
• Strong financial acumen and experience in revenue management, budgeting, and inventory control;
• Demonstrated focus on delivery of exceptional customer service;
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with proven ability to inspire and motivate others;
• Experience in facility management an asset; and,
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge an asset.

Additional requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills;
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Driver’s license and passport required as some travel outside of the US is required;
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; and,
• Enthusiasm for the attractions industry.
