Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our clients team for a Temporary role in Brantford, ON. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the shipping, receiving, and stock management processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse.
Pay rate: $20/hour.
Location: Brantford, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Detailed Job Description: As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including:
Complete shipping documentation.
Determine transportation methods.
Prepare and label shipping materials.
Consolidate skids for efficiency.
Verify incoming shipments with bill of lading.
Authorize accepted material.
Follow receiving procedures for damaged material.
Maintain a log of received material.
Determine stocking location using supplier area and codes.
Identify non-stock items and assign temporary locations.
Perform spot-checks and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
Sort tickets for priority, bulk, and preparation items.
Select products using intelligent codes.
Utilize forklift or reach truck with safety measures.
Verify selected products and quantities.
Perform housekeeping functions.
Maintain warehouse equipment.
Conduct pre-shift inspections.
Act as counter backup.
Answer phones, take customer orders, and cut wire.
Ensure legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Lift up to 50lbs, no repetitive.
Candidate's Profile: The ideal candidate possesses:
Excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of technology and machinery for material handling.
Understanding of inventory management.
Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures.
Ability to use computer technology for labeling, inventory tracking, and record-keeping.
Capability to work collaboratively in a team.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
