Job description
Drake International is excited to partner with a leading logistics company, recognized globally for its excellence in logistics and supply chain solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Analyst to join this esteemed client's team. The Sales Analyst will play a crucial role in driving sales within the branch, maintaining and expanding Corporate Book of Business accounts, and achieving sales objectives through effective collaboration across departments. This position demands a proactive approach to sales, marketing initiatives, account management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in and support marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, focusing on client identification and profiling in line with the company’s Sales Process.
- Assist in managing and executing cross-selling programs, ensuring effective distribution and oversight processes.
- Conduct regular communication and updates with Corporate Accounts.
- Support in quoting and pricing for RFQs, collaborating with local and overseas branches, and product leads to develop optimal client quotes.
- Aid the Sales team in Account Plan development and in monitoring the performance of accounts.
- Facilitate new customer implementation processes, including credit setup, documentation, and internal communications.
- Proactively escalate client issues when necessary and assist in organizing customer visits and sales meetings.
- Contribute to lead generation efforts and uphold the company's commitment to quality, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of industry experience, with a thorough understanding of carrier rate structures (air and ocean).
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
- CIFFA certification preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills in English and French.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in time management, planning, and multitasking.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of CRM tools; experience with industry-specific software is a plus.
- Proven negotiation and sales skills.
- A strong ethical stance, aligned with corporate values and standards.
