We are currently seeking an Information Manager to help us build something legendary in Toronto!

The Information Manager is responsible for aligning, managing, and controlling the complete flow of information between all stakeholders involved in the Ontario Line North – Elevated Guideway and Stations construction project throughout the design and construction phases.

This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate information flow among diverse project stakeholders. The Information Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and utilization of project information, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of the subway construction project.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with agreed procedures and protocols for information transmission.
• Maintain the security of essential project data.
• Define common project data structures such as WBS, file coding system, and exchange procedures.
• Establish a common data environment to meet project information delivery requirements.
• Other duties as related to the role

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
• Demonstrated experience as a BIM manager in large linear construction projects
• Practical knowledge of ISO 19650 standards (MIDP, BEP, Assessments, Mobilization Plan, etc.).
• Proficiency in classification systems, naming conventions, psets, and databases integration with BIM.
• Experience with structural and linear modeling software such as Revit, Civil3D, Tekla, Openroads, etc.
• Strong soft skills including planning, motivation, persuasion, and active listening.

Recommended Skills:

• Proficiency in automation and programming languages such as Dynamo, Python, C#, etc.
• Familiarity with common data environments such as Asite, Projectwise, Aconex, BIM360.
• Experience in Data warehousing and Power BI for advanced data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with BIM construction software including Synchro, Bexel, BIMCollab, Navisworks, etc.
